Blood is mentioned [460] times in The Holy Bible. [14] times in the New Testament ~JESUS~ spoke of His own blood…
Why???
Because by the shedding of His own blood, He accomplished the possibility of our Salvation. He paid the penalty for our sin and Redeemed us…
The penalty for our sin and rebellion is death; ~JESUS~ stepped out and said, “I’ll take that death.” He voluntarily laid down His own life and took the penalty we deserve…
That’s what The Cross is all about!!!
The blood of ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth [NOT] only Redeems us, but, it also Justifies us. Being justified means more than just being forgiven. I can say, “I forgive you,” but I can’t justify you…
But, ~GOD~ [NOT] only forgives the past, He also clothes us in His own righteousness as though we had never committed any sin at all…
Yet, it cost the blood of His one and only begotten Son on The Cross!!!
Prayer: Lord ~JESUS~, with a deeply grateful heart we thank You for Your Sacrifice upon The Cross. Your blood has cleansed our sin and made us worthy of Your Eternal forgiveness. Amen…

~JESUS Is The Light Of The World~
Stephen Hawking was the most famous scientist of his generation. The author of [A Brief History of Time] died in 2018. Near the end of his life, he became something of a prophet of doom. In his last years, he pointed out several threats to human civilization and even to human existence. In 2014, he wrote, [The development of full artificial intelligence could spell the end of the human race]. In 2015, he said, “Aggression threatens to destroy us all”…
He was not alone in his concerns. Films, music, books [both fiction and nonfiction], news reports, and even video games are filled with apocalyptic horror. And the answers—especially the fictional ones—are not particularly comforting. In real life, few people expect a superhero to save the day. A Savior is coming, but He doesn’t wear an [S] on His chest…
Some concerns are valid, and some are not. But all of them show that humanity senses its sin and fears coming judgment. They don’t use the word sin, but they talk a lot about the concept. However they express it, they show a growing realization that, as a species and as individuals, we are missing the mark. And some form of judgment must come…
There is an upside to judgment. It means that ~GOD~ is real, and so are His standards. It means the world is not an accident. You are not an accident. He created each one of us with purpose and meaning. We all sense these things to be true, but ~GOD~ gave us more than an intuition. He gave us The Holy Bible. And He verified The Holy Bible’s trustworthiness over and over again…
“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets…”
{Hebrews 1:1 KJV}
The prophets correctly described events that would take place a short time later, or even thousands of years later. Their words focused primarily on the first and second comings of ~JESUS~. They spoke of our time in stunning detail…
They didn’t get these things right because they were good guessers. No one can make that many good guesses. They got it right every time because ~GOD~ spoke through them…
We see an example of the ultimate expression of ~GOD’s~ love in the following passage:
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life…”

Yes, we are guilty. We are sinners. We deserve judgment. But, ~JESUS~ bore our punishment:
“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls…”

He also made this promise to all who follow Him:
“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know…” {John 14:1-4 KJV}
The news is often bleak. Those who reject Christ are right to feel a sense of impending doom. But followers of ~JESUS~ must know that the darkness will not last. The Lord will rapture His children out of this mess…

The fires are out, and the smoke has cleared—or so it seems. On February 5th of this year, the 65th Annual Grammy Awards featured a sadomasochistic depiction of satan performing a song called [Unholy]. It was a fire, smoke, and red–light extravaganza. But it has already become old news. It happened a month ago and in modern America, that might as well be ten years ago. Also, there have been similar performances in the past. They have become old hat, trite, and predictable. But this time, there was a difference, and that difference is chilling…
In many ways, it seemed passé. Elon Musk tweeted that the Grammy performance had, [an end of days vibe]. But later he added, [If that’s satan, we have nothing to worry about]. Breitbart’s Paul Bois made a similar point. [Leading up to Sunday’s performance, Sam Smith promised that it would likely anger Christians and cause protests at CBS for what he described as satanic imagery. As it turns out, the imagery was just a few items of clothing removed from a Looney Tunes episode]…
Musk and Bois are right. It did look ridiculous. But the performers, much of the audience, and CBS seemed to take it seriously. They were especially serious about offending Christians. We live in a society where offending one person can get Christmas banned from a local library. Yet CBS, the Grammys, and their sponsors chose to intentionally offend millions…
Popular satan–related music is not new, so what made this different???
Was it music–industry heavyweights in the audience applauding deliriously when the song ended???
No. Been there, seen that…
Instead, it was something done before the show even started—something done by the staid old broadcasting network, CBS. Smith had said in advance that the performance would be satan–themed and would offend Christians. CBS responded, [We are ready to worship]!!!
It was chilling because CBS knew that a huge number of its viewers would find the [worship] tweet even more offensive than Smith’s performance. And they didn’t care. The Media Research Center asked the obvious question. “Did CBS just admit it worships satan”???
Fifty years ago, I wrote a book called “satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth”. Over and over, I warned anyone who would listen that the seeds of great evil were being planted in our society. The book sold well, but too few took the warnings seriously. Today, those seeds have grown into a massive forest, and they are bearing the fruit of sadness, brokenness, mental illness, and death!!!
CBS eventually took down their [worship] tweet, but it did so quietly and without apology. As far as I can find, none of the Grammys’ sponsors issued an apology for foisting this horror on our young. Pfizer emphasized that it sponsored the whole show, not just one song. But the whole show included the one song. Others not only advertised, but are considered [official] Grammy sponsors. They include corporate behemoths such as IBM, Google, Mastercard, Amazon, United Airlines, and Hilton…
All satanists tell us that their religion is about [benevolence and empathy]. But their name belies that. Whether or not they believe in an actual devil, they have chosen him for their symbol. And he is a figure straight from the pages of The Holy Bible. The devil is the world’s chief promoter of war, murder, rape, theft, oppression, abuse, violence, destroyed lives, and broken nations!!!
You might ask why corporate America would willingly offend—and offend on a deep level—a quarter or more of their potential customers. That’s a good question. Christians spend money, too. But we should also be asking an even more important question. Why would corporate America openly embrace a figure who stands for war, murder, rape, abuse, etc.???
And why would they encourage kids to embrace such evil???
The darkness is palpable now. But as we draw closer to the end of the age, we are also drawing closer to the beginning of a new age. In the darkness of these times, we must shine the light of Christ. And on a personal level, we need to draw ever closer to Him, knowing that He is Infinitely Greater than [ALL] evil combined…

Most of the media outlets today publish stories of immorality. Theologians and pastors are quoted as condoning sexual immorality under certain circumstances. The Holy Bible says through Isaiah the prophet:
“Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!!!”
{Isaiah 5:20 KJV}
Humanity has always been dexterous at confusing evil with good. That was Adam and Eve’s problem, and it is our problem today. If evil were not made to appear good, there would be no such thing as temptation. It is in their close similarity that the danger lies…
Modern social righteousness often differs from the righteousness of The Holy Bible. Someone has said: “A wrong deed is right if the majority of people declare it not to be wrong.” By this principle we can see our standards shifting from year to year according to the popular vote!!!
Divorce was once frowned upon by society, and laws against fornication and adultery were strictly enforced. But now divorce is accepted by society, and fornication is glorified in our literature and films…
The Holy Bible says: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.” ~GOD~ has not changed. His standards have not been lowered. ~GOD~ still calls immorality a sin, and The Holy Bible says ~GOD~ is going to judge it…
Honesty was once the hallmark of character. But it has been set aside with an [it’s all right as long as you don’t get caught] philosophy. How do we get our values so mixed up? How do we fall into this trap of satan? For one thing, we’re shortsighted. We look for shortcuts to happiness. Our lust for immediate pleasure prompts us to think of evil as good…
In one of novelist John Steinbeck’s books, he has a character saying: “If it succeeds, they will be thought not crooked but clever.” In our desire to achieve success quickly, it is easy to get our values mixed up and call evil good and good evil…
Another way to call evil good is to say that morals are relative. Someone has said: “As the occasion, so the behavior.” We have changed our moral code to fit our behavior instead of changing our behavior to harmonize with our moral code. Nothing is firm today. We are not on solid ground. Young people are shifting from one side to the other. Morally, they are drifting aimlessly without a compass or a guide…
Still, another way that evil is called good is for the conscience to be perverted, and certainly our consciences today are perverted. But right is right even if nobody is right, and wrong is wrong even if everybody is wrong…
~GOD~ does Not change His moral–law to suit our behavior!!!
Hazen G. Werner, who served as a United Methodist bishop in Ohio, Hong Kong and Taiwan, once said: “There is no more startling phenomenon in our day than the respectabilization of evil.” We accept in stride the false promises of politicians, the misrepresentations in advertising, the everyday dishonesties of Mr. and Mrs. John Doe, the cheating on exams, the usual exaggerations in conversation, and the common immoralities of our times. We no longer blush, and we’re no longer shocked by the immorality that’s going on around us…

The modern conscience has been twisted and distorted so badly that it is difficult to tell what is genuine and what is false…
Self–centeredness is another reason we are so inclined to call evil good. When something brings profit or pleasure to us, we are inclined to call it good, even if we know it is dead wrong. “But it’s what I’ve always wanted,” or, “It’s good for me, although I know it’s wrong” are the alibis we have manufactured to justify evil and call it good…
If we could only focus our eyes outward instead of inward and heed the words of ~JESUS~:
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you…”

Our trouble is that we say about Christianity what we say about everything else: “What’s in it for me?” In our selfishness, we think of ~GOD~ as we think of everyone else—in terms of what He can contribute to us personally. In other words, we want ~GOD~ to be our servant…
“Woe to those who call evil good!!!”
Also, through a popular technique called rationalization, we find it easy to call evil good. How easy it is to place the blame on others, on circumstances or on fate. From Adam:
“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat…” {Genesis 3:12 KJV}
To a politician who says: “I did nothing that a thousand other people would not have done,” we excuse ourselves. We call evil good…
Our Lord is impatient with our tendency to rationalize our evil and call it good. He told of the self–righteous Pharisee:
“The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican…”
{Luke 18:11 KJV}
The Pharisee kidded himself into thinking he was something when he was not. He was skilled in the ancient—and modern—art of rationalization…
But the tax collector, whom the Pharisee looked upon as the most sinful of men, saw himself as he was:
“And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner…”

~JESUS~ continued saying:
“I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted…”
{Luke 18:14 KJV}
How can we get our values straightened out—How can our warped judgment be brought back into line—How can we stop calling evil good???
Some tell us that education is the answer to these questions. Prove to people that crime doesn’t pay, that illicit sex is psychologically harmful, that excessive drinking is harmful to the body and brain, that honesty is the best policy. “Let knowledge redeem them,” they say…
Others say that science is the answer. Science can make a clean bomb. Science can make a harmless cigarette. Science can cope with the problems of alcohol, drugs, and other forms of addiction. Science, they say, can tap into the human brain and alter our desires and make us civilized. Science, some proclaim, is the answer to the problems of mankind…
But, The Holy Bible, which has withstood the ravages of time, tells us a different story. It says that we possess a nature that wars against us, that seeks to destroy us. The Apostle Paul said:
“I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me…”
{Romans 7:21 KJV}
Evil is present in us disguising itself as good, controlling us and deceiving us. Sin is why the atonement was necessary. Christ died on The Cross to make us one with Him—dead to sin and alive to righteousness…
Man without ~GOD~ is a contradiction, a paradox, a monstrosity. He sees evil as good and good as evil. That is why some people love evil and hate that which is good—they are still in their sins. For them, life’s values are confused. Paul found the cure for his violent, destructive disposition, not at the feet of Gamaliel or in the culture of Greece, but on the Damascus Road when he met ~JESUS~ Christ. Later he wrote:
“For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death…”
{Romans 8:2 KJV}
Before his conversion, he saw Christ and His disciples as the greatest evil:
“And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest!!!” {Acts 9:1 KJV}
But, after he encountered Christ on the Damascus Road, he loved what he had so fervently hated. At last he could see evil as evil and good as good:
“And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized…”
{Acts 9:18 KJV}
His values were straightened out because his nature had been changed by the redeeming grace of ~GOD~…
Christ can do the same for you as He did with Paul:
“And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do…”
{Acts 9:6 KJV}
~JESUS~ Christ is calling you out of a world of delusion and deception in which evil is called good and good is called evil. Only if the scales fall from your eyes can you acknowledge Him as Lord. You must have a personal encounter with ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth…

During the recent storms, the local [County Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Search and Rescue Team] was activated to respond to a motorist stranded in floodwaters. The motorist drove past warning barriers into swift–moving floodwaters from a near–by river. The vehicle eventually became inoperable due to the floodwaters. Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene before the search and rescue team locating [5] people inside the vehicle. All occupants were able to exit the vehicle and make it to safe ground. The occupants were then evaluated by fire and medical personnel…
The search and rescue team was then dispatched to a local mobile home park to assist with evacuating residents impacted by the rising flood waters…
After the evacuation efforts at the mobile home park were completed, the search and rescue team was then dispatched back to the same flood waters of the first incident for a reported vehicle and driver stuck in the floodwaters. Upon arrival, deputies and rescue crews located a male who was on the roof of his vehicle. The male had driven past the road closure barricades and his vehicle had been swept downstream. The search and rescue team arrived and began coordinating rescue efforts with local and state fire personnel. [2] sheriff’s volunteer swift water/flood rescuers swam across the fast–moving flood waters to reach the victim. Once there, fire personnel sent an inflatable rescue boat across by ropes to the victim and rescuers. The rescuers assisted the victim into the boat and ferried him back across the flood waters to safety and the awaiting medical personnel for evaluation…
It should be noted that while performing the rescue operation, [ANOTHER] vehicle drove Past—the road closed signs, Past—the emergency vehicles, Past—the emergency personnel, and up to the water’s edge. The driver was then turned around by sheriff’s deputies at the scene…
