It’s the day after Christmas and all through the house, not a creature was stirring but a mouse. Getting the crumbs left behind by little hands, their feast is ready now to begin. Sacks and sacks of wrapping paper, boxes and bows headed out the door, in just a few minutes we will be able to see the floor!!!
The tree soon will come down, first the bulbs, then the lights, and the Angel on top, careful not one bulb can you drop. Our house is covered with snowmen, oh what a sight, but we sure had a great night!!!
All the decorations of cheer, will soon be packed away for another year. It warms our hearts to be with family and friends, such Joy and love to the very end. When all is over and it’s back to our normal life we go, remember our Saviour from the lowly crib he would grow. He grew into a man, spotless and pure, without Him, for sin would be no cure. He suffered, bled and died on that old tree, so that if we would believe in Him as our Saviour, forever with Him we will be!!!
He’s a gift to ALL who will believe, but it’s a gift you must receive. Is the gift of Salvation still under your tree???
If it is, would you do this for me? As you look at it close your eyes, to see that little baby as the man hanging on a different tree. A old cross where He gave His life for you and me! Open it and let Him come in, and Christmas for you never will end…
It’s the greatest gift you will ever receive, all you need to do is repent and believe! Merry Christmas if this you have done, a new life you have begun…
