Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him…”

👑 Avoid Hypocrisy in Prayer:

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly…”

‭‭{Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

~JESUS~ criticizes the [hypocrites] who pray publicly in synagogues and/or on the streets loudly to gain admiration from others. Their motive is to be seen, heard, and praised by people instead of seeking a genuine connection with ~GOD~. He says, “They have their reward,” meaning their only reward is the fleeting approval of others. Instead, ~JESUS~ instructs believers in Him to pray privately, in a “closet” [a private room or quiet place], focusing upon a sincere, personal relationship with ~GOD~. Private prayer demonstrates humility and authenticity, and ~GOD~, who sees this secret devotion, will “reward thee openly” with spiritual blessings and/or answers to your prayers…

👑 Avoid Vain Repetitions:

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him…”

‭‭{Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

~JESUS~ warns us against using “vain repetitions” like the “heathen”[non–believers or pagans] who regularly rely upon lengthy, repetitive, and vain prayers, thinking their many words will persuade ~GOD~ in their favor. Such prayers lack heart and True meaning. Instead, ~JESUS~ emphasizes that ~GOD~ already knows what we need before we ask. Prayer should be simple, sincere, and trusting, [NOT] a religious–ritual of empty words…

Summary:

Sincerity—Prayer is about a genuine personal connection with ~GOD~, Not an award winning performance for others…

Humility—Private prayer reflects a humble heart, prioritizing ~GOD’s~ approval over human praise…

Trust—~GOD~ knows our needs, so prayer should be heartfelt and straightforward, relying upon His wisdom and Not ours or anyone else’s…

This passage of scripture encourages believers in ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth to approach prayer with authenticity, focusing only upon ~GOD~ The Father rather than external appearances and big–long–fancy–hard–to–pronounce–words…

This should be a time of Peace and Joy for everyone—especially Your children…

However, in many places around the world instead of Celebrating Your birth they are being subjected to Extreme–Suffering and even Horrific–Deaths!!!

We are Very Thankful for living in a nation that has allowed Your children to Freely Worship and to Serve You without Fear of Persecution…

However—we feel deep down in our hearts that this Freedom is coming to an End…

As we look around the world—we see Your children [our Brothers and Sisters in Christ] being Persecuted in every corner of the earth, except in Your chosen nation—Israel…

Thank You, for preserving the Apple of Your eye…

For as America was once a safe haven for the Israelites—now Israel is a place of safe refuge for the Christians…

Lord ~JESUS~,

We Pray that You keep Your Strong, but Loving and Tender hand on Your children All over the world…

Please give us the Words, Wisdom, and Courage to Stay Steadfast and Unwavering in Proclaiming Your Gospel and our Faith in You—Our Blessed Hope…

We know that You have a special position of High–Esteem and Honor close to You in Your Eternal–Kingdom for those that are Hated, Persecuted, and Martyred for Your Name Sake…

And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child. And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son.
