“A Plea For Lifelong Faithfulness”

~If You Are Faithful To Him—He Will Be Faithful To You~
“Now also when I am old and greyheaded, O God, forsake me not; Until I have shewed thy strength unto this generation, and thy power to every one that is to come…”

{‭‭Psalm‬ ‭71‬:‭18‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

This verse is a heartfelt plea from an aging believer that is expressing a deep burning desire to remain faithful and useful to ~GOD~ even in their old age. This verse also emphasizes a longing for ~GOD’s~ presence and strength enabling them to continue proclaiming His power and faithfulness to the current generation as well as future ones…

Verse Breakdown:

📜 “Now also when I am old and greyheaded”—This sets the context of vulnerability, requiring even more dependence upon ~GOD~. The believer acknowledges the natural progression of life, referring to their old age and grey hairs which symbolizes the physical and mental challenges that come with the aging process…

📜 “O God, forsake me not”—This is a plea for ~GOD’s~ continued presence, guidance, and complete support. The believer recognizes their need for ~GOD’s~ sustaining grace, especially as they face the frailties of old age. They implore ~GOD~ Not to abandon them, emphasizing the importance of their role in passing on their knowledge and experiences to others…

This emphasizes a mission to share personal experiences of ~GOD’s~ faithfulness with others. The believer expresses a strong desire to demonstrate ~GOD’s~ strength and power to the current generation…

📜 “And thy power to every one that is to come”—Beyond the present, the believer desires to leave a legacy of faith, ensuring that future generations also hear of ~GOD’s~ power and deeds, through teaching, storytelling, and example. This verse underscores the importance of passing down faith and the knowledge of ~GOD’s~ deeds to future generations. It shows a commitment to teaching and inspiring others about ~GOD’s~ strength and power, which is a common theme in The Holy Bible. This indicates a sense of purpose in their life, emphasizing the importance of sharing faith and the works of ~GOD~ with others. The believer wants to be a witness to ~GOD’s~ greatness, ensuring that future generations understand and appreciate ~GOD’s~ Almighty Power. This verse highlights the importance of intergenerational transmission of faith and wisdom, teaching that even in old age, one’s life and experiences can still serve a purpose in glorifying ~GOD~ and guiding others…

Summary:

The believer’s plea is not just for personal sustenance but also for Devine purpose, allowing them the opportunity to continue their service to ~GOD~ and to ensure that the lessons learned throughout their life are passed on to those who will come after them. This verse also underscores the fact that ~God’s~ strength and power are not only for the present but also for the future, and that the experiences of the past can inform, educate, and inspire future generations…

This plea also exhorts a lifelong commitment to glorifying ~GOD~ and passing down the knowledge of His greatness. It underscores themes of dependence upon ~GOD~, faithfulness in old age, and the importance of intergenerational testimony. The believer wants their life, even in its later stages, to be a conduit for ~GOD’s~ glory, ensuring His works are remembered and celebrated…

This passage of scripture serves as a reminder of the enduring relationship between the believer and ~GOD~ [The Father, Son and Holy–Ghost], even in the later stages of life…

“The More Excellent Way”

~To Know JESUS Is To Love~
“And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity…”

{‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭13‬:‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

This verse is part of a passage of scripture often referred to as [The–Love–Chapter] in The Holy Bible, where The Apostle Paul discusses the supremacy and enduring nature and importance of charity [love] in the Christian faith. It is part of Paul’s first letter to The Church at Corinth, a community struggling with division, pride, and misuse of spiritual gifts [like speaking in tongues, prophecy, and/or knowledge]. In this chapter, Paul emphasizes that love is the essential foundation for All Christian behavior and spiritual gifts. Without love, even the most impressive gifts or actions [like speaking eloquently, performing miracles, and/or sacrificing oneself] are meaningless. He then describes the qualities of charity [love] before concluding with its eternal value…

Verse Breakdown:

🕊️ “And now abideth”—The word [abideth] means endurance and permanence. Paul contrasts the temporary nature of spiritual gifts like prophecy, tongues, and knowledge [which will cease or pass away when Christ returns] with the lasting qualities of faith, hope, and charity…

🕊️ “faith”—Trust and confidence in ~GOD~, His promises, and His salvation through His one and only begotten Son ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth. This is the foundation of a Christian’s relationship with ~GOD~…

🕊️ “hope”—The confident expectation of ~GOD’s~ future promises, including eternal life and the return of Christ. It motivates believers to persevere…

🕊️ “charity”—This concept is deeply rooted in Christian theology and ethics. The King James Version {KJV} of The Holy Bible uses the word [charity] to translate the Greek word [agape] which means selfless, unconditional, sacrificial love. This is the love that ~GOD~ has for mankind and is the same love that we Christians are supposed to have for others. The use of the word [charity] for [love] conveys a broader sense of selfless, benevolent love, and not just almsgiving…

🕊️ “these three”—Paul highlights these three as enduring virtues that define the Christian life…

🕊️ “But the greatest of these is charity”—Paul elevates charity [love] above faith and hope, not because the others are unimportant, but because love is the essence of ~GOD’s~ nature and the foundation of All Christian actions. Love is eternal, while faith and hope are temporary in the sense that they will be fulfilled in eternity [like faith becomes sight, and hope is realized in ~GOD’s~ presence]. Love, however, continues forever, even in Heaven…

Summary:

Supremacy of Love—Paul underscores that love is the greatest virtue because it reflects ~GOD’s~ character and is the motivation behind All meaningful actions. Without love, even faith and hope lack their full purpose…

Eternal Nature—While spiritual gifts like prophecy and knowledge will cease when Christ returns [because they are no longer needed in the presence of perfect knowledge], love remains forever. It binds believers to ~GOD~ and to one another, both now and in eternity…

Practical Application—As it was for The Church at Corinth, this is a call to prioritize love over our obsession with flashy spiritual gifts. It’s also a reminder to ground All acts of faith, hope, and service in selfless love…

This verse challenges All of us who believe in Christ to prioritize His love in our own lives. Faith and hope are vital, but love is the greatest because it reflects ~GOD’s~ heart, unites believers, and endures forever. It’s a call to live with selfless, Christ–like love in all relationships and actions…

“Spiritual Gifts”

🕊️Seek The–Holy–Spirit🕊️
“But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way…”

{‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭12‬:‭31‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

In this chapter, The Apostle Paul is addressing The Church at Corinth about spiritual gifts—diverse abilities given by The–Holy–Spirit to believers for the edification of The Church. These gifts include wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, prophecy, discernment, tongues, and interpretation of tongues. Paul emphasizes that these gifts are distributed by The–Holy–Spirit according to His will, and each believer has a unique role in The–Body–Of–Christ, like parts of a body working together. No gift is superior to another, and all are meant to serve the common good…

Verse Breakdown:

🕊️ “Covet earnestly the best gifts”—The word covet here doesn’t imply selfish desire but rather an eager, zealous pursuit. Paul encourages believers to desire the best or greater spiritual gifts—those that most effectively build up The Church. While all gifts are valuable, some, like prophecy, are particularly effective for edifying others because they communicate ~GOD’s~ Truth clearly. This instruction exhorts a call to prioritize gifts that promote unity and spiritual growth within The Church…

🕊️ “And yet shew I unto you a more excellent way”—Paul transitions to something even more important than spiritual gifts. The [more excellent way] refers to love. Paul is setting the stage to explain that while spiritual gifts are valuable, they are temporary and incomplete without love. Love is the foundation that gives meaning and purpose to the exercise of any gift…

Paul explains that without love, even the most impressive spiritual gifts—like speaking in tongues, prophecy, or sacrificial acts—are meaningless. Love is the [more excellent way] because it is eternal, selfless, and the essence of ~GOD’s~ character…

Unlike spiritual gifts, which will cease when ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth returns, love endures forever…

Application:

Seek spiritual gifts that benefit The Church, particularly those that edify others…

Recognize that love surpasses all gifts in importance. Gifts are tools, but love is the attitude and motivation that makes their use effective and pleasing to ~GOD~…

Pursue love in all actions, ensuring that spiritual gifts are exercised with humility, kindness, and a focus on the well–being of others’…

Summary:

This verse urges us as believers in ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth to value and seek the most edifying spiritual gifts while pointing to love as the ultimate way to live out our faith. It’s a call to balance zeal for spiritual abilities with a heart grounded in LOVE…

“Fruit Of The Spirit”

🕊️The–Holy–Spirit At Work🕊️
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts…”

{‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭24‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

This passage of scripture is part of a letter written by The Apostle Paul to the early Christian Churches in Galatia. In this section, Paul contrasts the behaviors and attitudes that arise from living according to The–Holy–Spirit of ~GOD~ with those that stem from living according to the flesh [human desires and sinful nature]…

Verse Breakdown:

🕊️ “But the fruit of the Spirit is”—Paul lists nine qualities that are considered the fruit or results of living in accordance with The–Holy–Spirit dwelling within our hearts…

🕊️ “Love”—A selfless, unconditional care for others…

🕊️ “Joy”—A deep–seated sense of happiness and contentment that comes from faith and belief in ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth…

🕊️ “Peace”—A state of tranquility and harmony, both internally and in relationships with others…

🕊️ “Longsuffering”—Patience and endurance in the face of difficulties and/or provocation…

🕊️ “Gentleness”—A disposition of kindness and humility…

🕊️ “Goodness”—Moral integrity and a desire to do good for others…

🕊️ “Faith”—Trust and belief in ~GOD~ and His promises…

🕊️ “Meekness”—Humility and a gentle spirit, not seeking to assert oneself aggressively…

🕊️ “Temperance”—Self–control and moderation in all things…

🕊️ “against such there is no law”—This phrase states that these qualities are in harmony with ~GOD’s~ will and do not violate any laws. In fact, they fulfill the essence of the law, which is to love ~GOD~ and mankind…

🕊️ “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts”—Paul emphasizes that those of us who belong to ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth have crucified our sinful nature, meaning we have chosen to reject our former way of life and refrain from giving into our sinful desires and behaviors. This act symbolizes a devoted commitment to live according to The–Holy–Spirit’s guidance rather than the desires of our flesh…

Summary:

This passage of scripture encourages us believers to cultivate these spiritual qualities in our own personal lives as evidence of our faith and eternal relationship with Christ. It highlights the transformative power of The–Holy–Spirit by enabling us to live in a way that reflects ~GOD’s~ character and love. By doing so, we align ourselves with ~GOD’s~ purposes and demonstrate a life that is pleasing to Him…

“Authentic Prayer And Devotion To ~GOD~”

~Seek GOD Daily~
“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him…”

{‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

In this passage of scripture ~JESUS~ teaches us about the proper attitude and practice of prayer…

👑 Avoid Hypocrisy in Prayer:

“And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly…”

‭‭{Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

~JESUS~ criticizes the [hypocrites] who pray publicly in synagogues and/or on the streets loudly to gain admiration from others. Their motive is to be seen, heard, and praised by people instead of seeking a genuine connection with ~GOD~. He says, “They have their reward,” meaning their only reward is the fleeting approval of others. Instead, ~JESUS~ instructs believers in Him to pray privately, in a “closet” [a private room or quiet place], focusing upon a sincere, personal relationship with ~GOD~. Private prayer demonstrates humility and authenticity, and ~GOD~, who sees this secret devotion, will “reward thee openly” with spiritual blessings and/or answers to your prayers…

👑 Avoid Vain Repetitions:

“But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him…”

‭‭{Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

~JESUS~ warns us against using “vain repetitions” like the “heathen”[non–believers or pagans] who regularly rely upon lengthy, repetitive, and vain prayers, thinking their many words will persuade ~GOD~ in their favor. Such prayers lack heart and True meaning. Instead, ~JESUS~ emphasizes that ~GOD~ already knows what we need before we ask. Prayer should be simple, sincere, and trusting, [NOT] a religious–ritual of empty words…

Summary:

Sincerity—Prayer is about a genuine personal connection with ~GOD~, Not an award winning performance for others…

Humility—Private prayer reflects a humble heart, prioritizing ~GOD’s~ approval over human praise…

Trust—~GOD~ knows our needs, so prayer should be heartfelt and straightforward, relying upon His wisdom and Not ours or anyone else’s…

This passage of scripture encourages believers in ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth to approach prayer with authenticity, focusing only upon ~GOD~ The Father rather than external appearances and big–long–fancy–hard–to–pronounce–words…

“Parable Of The Ten Virgins”

🪔Will You Be Wise Or Foolish???🪔
“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh…”

‭‭{Matthew‬ ‭25‬:‭1‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

This passage of scripture is a teaching from ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth that emphasizes the importance of spiritual preparedness and vigilance for The Kingdom of Heaven. Below is a clear and concise explanation of its meaning…

Context:

This parable is part of JESUS’ teachings about the end times and the coming of The Kingdom of Heaven, delivered to his disciples. It uses the imagery of a first–century Jewish wedding, where the bridegroom’s arrival was anticipated, but the exact time was unknown. This parable illustrates the need to be ready for Christ’s return, often referred to as [The Second Coming]…

Breakdown:

🪔 The Ten Virgins—The ten virgins represent people who are awaiting the return of Christ [The Bridegroom]. In a broader sense, they represent those who have placed their Faith and Trust in our Lord and Savior ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth…

🪔 Wise And Foolish Virgins—The five wise virgins brought extra oil for their lamps, showing foresight and preparation. The oil represents spiritual readiness, such as Faith, Obedience, and The Holy Ghost’s presence in the believer’s life. The five foolish virgins took lamps but no extra oil, indicating a lack of preparation due to their shallow or lack of commitment…

🪔 The Bridegroom’s Delay—The bridegroom’s delay represents the unknown timing of Christ’s return. All of the virgins fell asleep. This is a [WARNING] that reminds All of us that the wait for Christ’s return might be so long that even the faithful may grow weary…

🪔 The Midnight Cry—The sudden announcement of the bridegroom’s arrival represents the unexpected [TIME] of Christ’s return. It’s a call to action, prompting [ALL] believers to prepare immediately!!!

🪔 The Foolish Virgins’ Plight—The foolish virgins’ lamps went out because they lacked oil. Their request for oil from the wise virgins was denied, as spiritual preparedness cannot be shared or borrowed because it is [PERSONAL]. The wise virgins’ exhortation to buy oil reflects the need to seek spiritual readiness for oneself, but for the foolish, it was too late…

🪔 The Bridegroom’s Arrival—The wise virgins, being ready, entered the wedding feast [representing entry into The Kingdom of Heaven]. The door was shut, and the foolish virgins were excluded, illustrating that there will be a point when it is too late to prepare…

🪔 “I Know You Not”—The bridegroom’s rejection of the foolish virgins underscores that only those who are [TRULY] prepared and have a genuine Relationship with Christ will be accepted into ~GOD’s~ Glorious Eternal Kingdom…

Lessons:

🪔 Be Prepared—This parable urges us to be spiritually ready for Christ’s return, which requires constant Faith, Obedience, and a Life that’s aligned with ~GOD’s~ will. Preparation [CANNOT] be at the last–minute and superficial…

🪔 Personal Responsibility—Each person must cultivate their own Faith and Relationship with ~GOD~. [NOT] one person in this sinful–wicked–world can rely upon another’s’ Faith and Salvation to get them into Heaven…

🪔 Vigilance—Since the time of Christ’s return is unknown [“ye know neither the day nor the hour”], [ALL] believers [MUST] remain Watchful and Faithful at [ALL] times!!!

🪔 Consequences Of Unpreparedness—The shut door and the bridegroom’s rejection highlight the [ETERNAL] consequences of neglecting spiritual readiness. Unfortunately, for those that reject Christ and His [FREE] Gift of Pardon will spend Eternity in the Lake–of–Fire–and–Brimstone…

Application:

For [TRUE] believers in Christ this parable is a call to live a life of active Faith and Service, especially in Spreading The Gospel to the nations, nurtured by Prayer, and complete total reliance upon ~GOD~ and His loving–saving–grace. It also warns us against complacency and assuming that our Faith is sufficient without ongoing total commitment. The oil represents the inner spiritual life that sustains Faith, which [MUST] be maintained to endure until The Glorious Return of Christ!!!

Summary:

This Parable Of The Ten Virgins teaches us that believers [MUST] be spiritually prepared and vigilant, living in a way that anticipates Christ’s return at [ANY] moment, as the opportunity for Salvation will [NOT] remain open forever!!!

“Protecting The Little Ones”

~It’s Always Better To Obey GOD Rather Than To Suffer His Eternal Judgement~
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea…”

{‭‭Matthew‬ ‭18‬:‭6‬ ‭KJV‬‬}

This verse is a very strong warning from ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth about the severe consequences of Betraying, Harming, and/or leading Astray those who are vulnerable and faithful, in particular children and/or those with childlike faith in Him…

Verse Breakdown:

🛡️ “These little ones which believe in me”: The “little ones” refers to children, who are often used in The Holy Bible as examples of Pure–Trusting–Faith. It also extends to anyone with Humble–Sincere—Belief in ~JESUS~ Christ our Lord and Savior—especially those who are new in faith [babes in Christ] and spiritually vulnerable. The emphasis here is on their recent commitment to surrender their hearts, minds, bodies, souls, and spirits completely by placing their Faith, Trust, and Dependence in Christ…

🛡️ “Whoso shall offend”: In this context, “offend” [from the Greek word skandalizō] means to purposely cause someone to stumble, sin, and/or lose their faith. This involves leading someone into sin, corrupting their innocence, and/or undermining their trust in ~GOD~ through harmful–actions, false–teachings, and/or wicked–examples…

🛡️ “It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea”: ~JESUS~ uses vivid imagery here to underscore the seriousness of these offenses. A millstone is a large, very heavy, wheel shaped stone used for grinding grain, and to be drowned with one tied around your neck would most certainly be a horrific–inescapable–death. What ~JESUS~ is telling us here is that such a fate would be more preferable than the judgment awaiting someone who harms anyone who believes in Him. This statement clearly emphasizes the severity of ~GOD’s~ judgment for such Offenses!!!

Moral And Spiritual Weight:

This verse reflects ~GOD’s~ deep care for the vulnerable and His fierce protection over those who have placed their faith and trust in Him. It serves as a warning for All mankind to avoid actions and/or influences that could damage someone’s faith or moral integrity, especially those who are young and/or weak in their faith in The Holy ~GOD~ of The Holy Bible…

Context:

This verse appears in a passage of scripture where ~JESUS~ is teaching about humility, the value of children, and the importance of avoiding sin. Just before this, He calls a child to Him and says that greatness in ~GOD’s~ kingdom requires childlike humility and faith. The severe warning in this verse reinforces the seriousness of protecting those who embody such faith…

Application:

This verse calls for responsibility in how we treat others, especially the young or spiritually impressionable. It warns against leading others into sin—whether through direct harm, neglect, or bad example—and highlights the need to nurture and protect faith in others. It’s also a sobering reminder of the severe consequences of causing harm or spiritual stumbling to those who trust in ~JESUS~ Christ of Nazareth, urging All of us to act with care and integrity toward the vulnerable…

“It Shall Be Well”

~Elisha Prayed Unto The Lord~

“And it fell on a day, that Elisha passed to Shunem, where was a great woman; and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was, that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, Behold now, I perceive that this is an holy man of God, which passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall; and let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick: and it shall be, when he cometh to us, that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on a day, that he came thither, and he turned into the chamber, and lay there. And he said to Gehazi his servant, Call this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him. And he said unto him, Say now unto her, Behold, thou hast been careful for us with all this care; what is to be done for thee? wouldest thou be spoken for to the king, or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. And he said, What then is to be done for her? And Gehazi answered, Verily she hath no child, and her husband is old. And he said, Call her. And when he had called her, she stood in the door. And he said, About this season, according to the time of life, thou shalt embrace a son. And she said, Nay, my Lord, thou man of God, do not lie unto thine handmaid. And the woman conceived, and bare a son at that season that Elisha had said unto her, according to the time of life. And when the child was grown, it fell on a day, that he went out to his father to the reapers. And he said unto his father, My head, my head. And he said to a lad, Carry him to his mother. And when he had taken him, and brought him to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon, and then died. And she went up, and laid him on the bed of the man of God, and shut the door upon him, and went out. And she called unto her husband, and said, Send me, I pray thee, one of the young men, and one of the asses, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. And he said, Wherefore wilt thou go to him to day? it is neither new moon, nor sabbath. And she said, It shall be well. Then she saddled an ass, and said to her servant, Drive, and go forward; slack not thy riding for me, except I bid thee. So she went and came unto the man of God to mount Carmel. And it came to pass, when the man of God saw her afar off, that he said to Gehazi his servant, Behold, yonder is that Shunammite: Run now, I pray thee, to meet her, and say unto her, Is it well with thee? is it well with thy husband? is it well with the child? And she answered, It is well. And when she came to the man of God to the hill, she caught him by the feet: but Gehazi came near to thrust her away. And the man of God said, Let her alone; for her soul is vexed within her: and the Lord hath hid it from me, and hath not told me. Then she said, Did I desire a son of my Lord? did I not say, Do not deceive me? Then he said to Gehazi, Gird up thy loins, and take my staff in thine hand, and go thy way: if thou meet any man, salute him not; and if any salute thee, answer him not again: and lay my staff upon the face of the child. And the mother of the child said, As the Lord liveth, and as thy soul liveth, I will not leave thee. And he arose, and followed her. And Gehazi passed on before them, and laid the staff upon the face of the child; but there was neither voice, nor hearing. Wherefore he went again to meet him, and told him, saying, The child is not awaked. And when Elisha was come into the house, behold, the child was dead, and laid upon his bed. He went in therefore, and shut the door upon them twain, and prayed unto the Lord. And he went up, and lay upon the child, and put his mouth upon his mouth, and his eyes upon his eyes, and his hands upon his hands: and he stretched himself upon the child; and the flesh of the child waxed warm. Then he returned, and walked in the house to and fro; and went up, and stretched himself upon him: and the child sneezed seven times, and the child opened his eyes. And he called Gehazi, and said, Call this Shunammite. So he called her. And when she was come in unto him, he said, Take up thy son. Then she went in, and fell at his feet, and bowed herself to the ground, and took up her son, and went out…”

“Meet Caiaphas”

🐍Caiaphas And The Pharisees🐍

“Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all, Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation; And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad. Then from that day forth they took counsel together for to put him to death. Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples. And the Jews’ passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves. Then sought they for Jesus, and spake among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think ye, that he will not come to the feast? Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should shew it, that they might take him!!!”

A remarkable discovery in Israel is shedding new light on life in Bible times. The discovery is also allowing scientists and the rest of us to get to know an important New Testament person…

Israeli archaeologists believe they may have discovered the bones of the high priest Caiaphas. If these bones do indeed belong to Caiaphas, it would be the first discovery of the remains of any major figure mentioned in the New Testament. The discovery was made accidentally in [1990] as workers were widening the road through the Peace Forest…

Researchers didn’t want to release their announcement until they had satisfied themselves that such a momentous announcement was justified. The burial cave has three mentions of the name Caiaphas. An ossuary, or bone box, within the cave was inscribed, [Joseph, son of Caiaphas]. Other records identify the Caiaphas who condemned ~JESUS~ as Joseph, son of Caiaphas. A coin found in the cave was minted between [37–44 AD]. The ossuary contained the bones of six people. There were two infants, a child, a youth, an adult female and a male about [60] years old, believed to have been Caiaphas himself…

It was from political expediency that Caiaphas said it would be better for one man to die for the people than for the entire nation to perish. He was unknowingly prophetic. ~JESUS~ Christ did die to save us from the eternal consequences of our sin…

Prayer: Dear Lord ~JESUS~ Christ, I thank You that You gave up Heaven and endured the suffering of The Cross so that my sins could be forgiven. Help me to always treasure what You have done for me and show my thanks to You in the life that I live. Amen…
