“They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them…”

Oil represents The–Holy–Spirit, and in this setting of Scripture, it represents being ready in the essence of life and preparation. We, like the ten virgins, do not know the time The–Holy–Spirit will call. We need to be available and ready at a moment’s notice when opportunity knocks for divine appointments…
As with the (CMA), an evangelistic organization, our primary purpose is to take The Gospel of ~JESUS~ Christ to the highways and byways. It is possible to be so focused on the going and the things of the natural that we miss the most important thing: time spent with ~GOD~ and allowing our Spiritual-Man to grow and to be Anointed for Ministry. It is possible for us to operate totally in the natural, but at the moment that The Spirit of The Lord calls, we would find ourselves empty. The Anointing of ~GOD~ comes when we have made time with ~GOD~ a Priority in our lives. We do not know when The–Holy–Spirit will open a door. If our lamps are not filled with oil, then we will be found empty and will have missed the opportunity to see other’s lives touched. We cannot give what we do not have. The disciples at the gate said to the beggar:
“Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk…”
While it is important to have beautiful clean motorcycles to be used as a tool in Ministry, it will never take the place of a life that is being led by The Spirit of ~GOD~. Our Priority must be to allow ~GOD~ to pour into our lives His–Spirit so that our lamps may be full. At the point and time when doors of Ministry are opened, we can pour out of ourselves The Anointing and The Presence of ~GOD~ to see those that are hurting and need a touch from The–Master’s–Hand be set free…
